Tissue Proteomic Assay Development
and Discovery Programs
Using our proprietary tissue analysis platform we are developing
new targeted tissue assays focusing on cancer. Our Liquid Tissue® MRM technology is providing the foundation for new ways to accurately measure proteins in standard formalin-fixed paraffin
embedded tissue. The assays will provide information to guide
treatment decisions; the presence of protein drug targets, or
which
biological pathways are activated in tumors to aid prognosis
and drug selection.
Liquid Tissue® MRM assays can be multiplexed so it is, for
example, possible to measure several
different targets, or a number of proteins in a pathway simultaneously.
We also engage in biomarker discovery projects where our
technology is used for global proteomic profiling. Comparing
tissue samples from e.g. responders and responders can help
identify differentially
expressing candidate biomarkers, which can subsequently be
measured using MRM based methods.

The Liquid Tissue® MS protocol prepares FFPE samples
for mass spec analysis. Complete solubilization captures the entire protein
content. Mass spec friendly. Requires only 30,000 cells for multiple
mass spectrometry analyses.
The Director® Laser Microdissection Slides
provide the fastest, easiest and most accurate way
to collect specific cellular features from tissue
sections. Engineered for use with current
Leica LMD, PALM Zeiss and MMI laser microdissection
system.
